Mechanical Design Engineer
To work for our company a person must be extremely detailed oriented, organized and be able to work "hands-on" with project applications.
The following are the major components of experience preferred.
- A BS in mechanical engineering a must.
- At least eight (8) years of experience required.
- Must be able to design and build electro-mechanical components and apply it to industrial laser systems.
- Laser experience a bonus.
- Design prototyping helpful.
- A knowledge of industrial laser optics a plus.
- A good mechanical aptitude is also required to assemble and test electronic components required in the designs.
- A thorough knowledge of SolidWorks is required.
- CNC programming and maching skills helpful.
- There will be worldwide customer and vendor base contacts.
- Job includes meeting with customers during the initial design stage.
- Component design and engineering are followed by assembly and inspection of prototype designs.
- Additional testing for performance and functionality, final inspection, creation of user manuals, creation of test and assembly procedures, evaluation of manufacturing tolerances and component ordering are also required.
- Must be a self starter and be able to work well in a team.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Some travel nationally and internationally required.

Electro-Mechanical Technician
Haas LTI is an international laser engineering company located in Morris County, New Jersey is seeking an Electro-mechanical Technician. We are seeking a candidate with established qualifications, experienced customer presence and proven accomplishments.
Qualifications
- Build electro-mechanical assemblies.
- A good mechanical aptitude is required along with a machine tool background.
- A good electrical aptitude is also required to assemble and test electronic assemblies.
- A basic knowledge of SolidWorks and CNC programming is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Production, assembly and inspection of prototype electromechanical components and assemblies
- Testing for performance and functionality, final inspection, creation of user manuals, creation of test and assembly procedures
- Evaluation of manufacturing tolerances, inspection, component ordering and stock control.
