Capabilities: From System Design to Full-Scale Manufacturing

With expertise in optical design, mechanical and electrical engineering, and system integration, we deliver high-performance laser solutions. Our team collaborates with you at every step to achieve your technical and operational goals.

  • At Haas Laser Technologies, we specialize in providing expert optical design consulting services to ensure your laser system achieves optimal performance. Our in-house optical design experts utilize advanced analysis software to examine beam characteristics to design custom solutions for your specific application.

  • At Haas Laser Technologies, our mechanical engineering team designs and builds robust systems for industrial environments that require 24/7 continuous operation. Using advanced tools like SolidWorks, we create custom solutions tailored to the specific needs of each project.

    • FEA Simulation
For larger, more complex systems, we employ Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to simulate and analyze stresses and forces. This allows us to optimize the design and ensure structural integrity under various load conditions.

    • Thermal Analysis
Understanding heat distribution is critical in high-performance laser systems. Our team conducts thermal analysis to ensure efficient cooling and heat dissipation, which is vital for maintaining system reliability and performance.

    • Integrated Control Electronics
We integrate control systems such as PLCs, servo and stepper motor drives, and other electronics to provide seamless control and automation. This ensures your laser system operates with high accuracy and repeatability.

    • Full Motion Studies in CAD
We design motion systems using belts, linear rails, gears, and motion stages to provide both accurate positioning and fast movement. To ensure everything works smoothly, we run detailed motion tests in CAD to see how all the parts fit and move together. This lets us make any changes before manufacturing, so the system performs well right from the start.

  • We pride ourselves on being a vertically integrated manufacturer. Our in-house machining and fabrication capabilities give us full control over every stage of the production process, ensuring the highest level of precision and quality for each component. Whether we’re machining critical parts for custom laser systems or fabricating mechanical structures, our vertically integrated approach allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

    CNC Machining for Precision Manufacturing

Our machine shop features 7 CNC milling machines and 3 CNC lathes, providing the flexibility and accuracy required to machine components for complex laser systems. With our vertical integration, we manage every aspect of the production cycle, from design to final fabrication.

    • Milling and Turning: Our CNC equipment is capable of precision milling and turning, allowing us to machine both small, intricate parts and larger components.
    • Prototyping and Small Batch Production: We excel in prototyping and small production runs, ensuring that each part is tested and verified for fit and function before moving into full-scale production. We are also capable of mid to large size production runs.
    • Finishing and Inspection: Each machined component undergoes post-machining inspection and finishing processes such as sanding, deburring and polishing, and dimensional checks to ensure they meet exact specifications.

    Fabrication for Custom System Builds

In addition to our machining services, we offer complete fabrication solutions to support the development of our custom laser systems. Our vertically integrated process ensures that every step, from fabrication to assembly, aligns with your project's specific needs,

    • Welding and Assembly: Our fabrication shop is equipped with welding tools enabling us to assemble metal structures and frames that provide the durability required for industrial laser systems.
    • Custom Fixtures and Jigs: We design and build custom fixtures and jigs to support the machining and assembly process, ensuring precise alignment and fit for all components.

  • Clean Room for Precision Optical Assembly

Every component is carefully assembled and rigorously tested to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Using our clean room, dedicated assembly area, and thorough testing procedures, we build and validate each system for precise and reliable functionality.

A controlled environment is crucial for the precision assembly of sensitive optical components. Using high-power microscopes and specialized inspection equipment ensures cleanliness and because they are clean the optics last longer and it improves the performance of them. This guarantees consistent performance and maximizes the reliability of your laser system.

    • Microscopic Inspection: Every optical component undergoes detailed inspection to ensure it is free of contaminants.
    • Controlled Environment: The clean room safeguards sensitive optics from dust and particles, maintaining system integrity.

    Dedicated Assembly Area

The assembly area is where mechanical, optical, and electrical components come together. Each system is assembled by experts technicians.

    • Precision Assembly: Each component is assembled to ensure a precise fit, supporting the system's overall functionality and reliability.
    • Organized for Efficiency: The assembly area is designed to facilitate smooth workflows, allowing for efficient and precise builds.

    Comprehensive Testing and Validation

After assembly, each system undergoes thorough testing to ensure all components work together and meet performance standards. Every laser system is verified to function correctly before delivery.

    • Functional Testing: Systems are thoroughly tested to verify that all elements—optical, mechanical, and electrical—are in perfect working order.
    • Performance Validation: Systems are thoroughly tested to ensure that all optical, mechanical, and electrical components are functioning as expected.

  • Custom System Integration

We specialize in providing fully integrated laser systems designed to meet specific application requirements.
