Designed for Nd:YAG or CO2 applications. The laser beam enters into the 90º Kinematic bending mirror assembly and directs the laser beam to the process head. The folded CCD camera system with X-Y axis and tip-tilt adjustments look at the workpiece through a zoom lens assembly.
Ultra-low light CCD camera transmits image to an adjustable crosshair generator and to a 9" B&W monitor. Laser beam, after being reflected by the kinematic bending mirror, is projected onto the Dynamic Focus Module which provides independent movement of focus lens via DC Servo Motor. The system is capable of speeds up to 250mm/sec and has provision for a 2.0" Dia. Focus lens.
Translaton speed for 2mm travel range is under 100ms. An additional Z-axis slide provides focus position control with capacitive height sensing. Includes DC servo motors, amplifiers, interface control electronics, and all needed cables.
