Orbital Welding/Cutting System

Permits orbital welding / cutting of tubes of several diameters. Designed for fiber optic beam delivery. Two-piece collet system mounts unit to tube. Laser process head rotates around entire tube. Standard rotation plate permits a wide variety of laser process heads to be used. DC servo motor and proprietary transmission permit smooth movement over entire range of motion. "C" type design permits unit to be used without sliding system over the end of the tube. Electronic interface unit controls motion through a closed loop system. Digital speed control sets RPM and up to 370 degrees of travel.
