Laser Beam Delivery Components
Beam Modification Module
Overview
The Laser Beam Modification Module is designed to equalize laser beam divergence in the X and Y axes. It uses two ZnSe wedges held at preset angles, with fine adjustments available for tuning non-nominal beam profiles. This ensures consistent performance in systems where symmetrical beam quality is critical. It can be integrated into any setup requiring compact, inline beam correction.

Applications
Industrial Applications
The Beam Modification Module is primarily used in systems where asymmetric laser beam divergence must be corrected before processing. Effective in any setup requiring beam shaping for more uniform performance in the X and Y axes.
Typical applications include:
-
OEM laser systems requiring tight control of beam shape
-
Laser engraving and marking systems
-
Cutting systems where beam quality consistency across the field is critical
-
Custom optical setups that need to correct astigmatism or beam skew from laser sources
