Telescopic Beam Tube

Overview

The 19 mm Telescopic Beam Tube is designed for sections of a beam delivery path attached to moving or translating axes. It consists of male and female telescoping tubes sealed with a shaft seal at the slip joint to protect against contaminates entering the system. The telescopic beam tube works in both vertical and horizontal orientations, allowing for adjustable stroke while maintaining a sealed and aligned beam path.

Applications

Selecting a Part Number

To select the correct Telescopic Beam Tube, follow these parameters:

  1. Select the Mounting Thread Styles (Both Ends)

    • Options include male‑male (CM‑CM), male‑female (CM‑CF) female‑male (CF‑CM), or female‑female (CF‑CF) ends using the standard 1″‑32 thread.

  2. Choose Stroke and Overall Length

    • “MAX” = fully extended length

    • “MIN” = collapsed length (stroke)
      Pick a beam tube with sufficient extension range for your translating axis.
