25mm Laser Beam Directing & Positioning
Beam Switching Unit
The Beam Switching Unit contains provision for a laser beam bending mirror that is mounted on precision linear bearings and can be translated in and out of the beam path. The kinematic laser beam bender provides a 90º beam displacement with a 21.5mm clear aperture. Kinematic correction with 80 pitch adjustment screws provides precise, repeatable alignment. The BSU-25 provides a method to "Time-Share" or redirect the laser beam.
