Overview
The Circular Polarizer System is designed to convert linearly polarized laser beams into circular polarization using a quarter-wave plate. This is essential in applications where polarization-sensitive effects—like back reflections, material anisotropy, or inconsistent coupling—need to be minimized. The compact housing allows for easy integration into beam delivery systems, and it’s available in 19 mm, 25 mm, and 38 mm aperture sizes.

Applications
Circular polarizers are commonly used in:

Selecting a Part Number
Haas circular polarizers are defined by three parameters:

Aperture Size
Available in 19 mm, 25 mm, and 38 mm series.
Choose the aperture based on beam diameter, with a 1.5× margin recommended to prevent clipping. -
Wavelength
Select the wavelength that matches the rest of your system. Options include 10.6µm, 10.2µm and 9.4µm. -
Mounting Interface
Multiple mounting options are available, including Haas standard flanges and third-party-compatible interfaces. Choose the flange that fits your existing beam delivery system or optical setup.
